Sywell Aviation Museum based at Sywell Aerodrome, Northants, is currently undergoing its winter refit ready for its Grand Opening on Easter Saturday, March 31, 2018. The museum is entirely run by volunteers, does not charge an entry fee and relies on donations to survive.

It is currently seeking donations of military/aviation books, models and model kits to raise funds to refurbish their unique Hawker Hunter F.2 WN904 this year. They’re aiming to repaint it into its original 257 Squadron markings. The attraction also welcomes the donation of any aviation artefacts or items relating to wartime Northamptonshire.

The museum would be delighted to hear from anyone who would like to donate items and it can often collect! For more information please contact Ben Brown, Museum Secretary on 07968061708 or email sywellaviationmuseum@gmail.com
