For those of you looking for an inexpensive gift idea, or just for some novelty items to highlight your passion for aviation and militaria, Northamptonshire’s Richard Burton, who specialises in fridge magnets and key rings, may well have the answer.

Among Richard’s extensive product range, all of which honour British forces past, present and future, are several items specific to historic aviation and the RAF. Fridge magnets representing RAF Squadrons, command units and stations can be bought, along with those commemorating army regiments and specific naval vessels. Many of these designs are also available as key rings.

Colourful fridge magnets depicting two of the legends of jet aviation – the Avro Vulcan and the Concorde – have also been produced, with key rings available as well.

There is a dazzling array of choice, with thousands of designs possible – so pre-order phone calls are recommended. Both magnets and key rings are priced at £2.50 each, from which £1.50 is donated to Help The Heroes.
