The bumper August issue of FlyPast features a special 20-page section on one of the most potent fighters of World War Two – the Luftwaffe’s Focke-Wulf Fw 190.

Within the special section we look at the aircraft’s history, and tell of the men flew the fighter in combat. Spotlight also looks at the Fw 190’s wartime use in the ‘piggyback’ combination with an explosive-packed Ju 88, compares the Fw 190 to its contemporaries and focuses on the paint scheme of a defence of the Reich machine.
